This last suggestion should be incorporated into the Internet usage rules.

Where can I buy a red filter for my torch?
I need one for a camp with cadets- anyone know a shop where I can get them?
Try your local art/craft shop and look for an A4 sheet of red acetate, which you can then cut to size and fit to the torch. Although trying to find the right size of filter for your torch may not be easy, probably better just buying a new torch with red filter.
