Recovering Lost Pictures from Panasonic Digital Camera - Photo recovery software
Panasonic is an advanced compact camera that pursues excellence in both design and function. The camera incorporates LED buttons which give its design, an elegant touch. The beautiful camera is an apt choice for users who are particular about both image quality and design of the camera. The photo frame mode is a fun element which allows you to shoot images with various decorations. The camera has approximately 40 MB built-in memory which is compatible with both SD/SDHC cards.
A user is always advised to handle SD cards carefully, as the cards can get damaged in various scenarios resulting in potential data loss. Battling SD card issues and compensating data loss is no big deal provided you use a powerful photo recovery utility to recover lost images.
For instance, let's take one data loss scenario where you are transferring few pictures and videos clicked from your SD card to a computer via a card reader. The moment you see the required folders on the computer screen, you remove the SD card. When you load the card again in Panasonic, you may receive the following error:
"A media card has been inserted that contains errors. To correct the error please use a disk error-checking utility on a computer."
The above error indicates there is something seriously wrong with the card which has rendered the stored data inaccessible.
The main cause for the memory card corruption is theinterruption in the read/write process. The interruption occurred when the card was suddenly removed during the transfer process while its content was still open on the computer.

Are there any dslr's that have a classic 35mm SLR type body?
I like the way 35mm dslr's were sturdily built, not so much plastic, when I started photography in the 80's. I like the simplicity of the settings, good viewfinders. I had Minolta SRT101, very basic.
I've looked at the digital SLR's. The sturdiest, most classic feeling I have found are the Panasonic DMC-L1, Pentax K7, Olympus e-520, 620. The Panasonic and Olympus have small viewfinders.
I like to shoot landscapes and city scenes, some artistic black and white shots, portrait work, still lifes to paint from, and I need to record my artwork, paintings.
Budget $500 to $1200. I would like a fast lens for low light, indoor shots.
I have a panasonic LX3, but am interested in a DSLR for the viewfinder mostly, and variety of lenses.
I'm considering a Pentax Kx, with some good lenses.
The Sony A900 has a slightly more classic build than some, but too pricey for me.

Sadly, there aren't really in that price range. The Nikon D700, particularly with a vertical grip, or the D3, feel remarkably like the venerable Nikon F5. Very, very solid, with good viewfinders. Other than that, the Pentax K7 looks a bit old school, but I haven't used one. If you want a digital camera that feels pretty much just like an old film camera, your best bets are absurdly expensive, like the Leica M9 or a medium format camera with a digital back. The Leica M8 is dropping pretty steadily in price, so that might be an option for you. The small viewfinders are due to the crop sensors. If you want something with a large viewfinder, your best bet is to save up for a full frame camera. The cheapest full frame camera would probably be a used Canon 5d. I don't particularly like the control ergonomics on canons, but other than that, they are good cameras.
I really wish that someone would make a metal bodied fully manual full frame digital camera, preferably one with no screen on the back, controlled by dials like the Epson RD-1. It would be great for beginners, and for people who want a simple, rugged camera.
